Objects D'Art in a Real Home

Paintings and objects d'art are often handmade by friends and family.

Real People

We have crooked teeth, grey, unruly hair even dirty hair.
Our clothes are comfortable and practical.

Real Homes

Real people live in real homes as opposed to magazine models with straight teeth and airbrushed faces. Our homes are real, complete with clutter, dust, cobwebs, ash around the fireplace and look like they are not only lived in but look warm and welcoming. Rooms contain objects d’art and furniture mostly made by friends or family. Paintings on the walls are not always straight. There is usually a dog on the lounge. The walls are not always pristine. Some have peeling wallpaper need painting and or repair. There is home grown fruit, nuts and vegetables on the sideboards as well as electronic toys; fish, lights and soft toys such as gorillas. There are sometimes old flowers in vases were the water has long evaporated. There is mail piling up on the table and a newspaper article of the new female PM and female GG stuck to the cupboard door.
